Feb40 Puts; sold today @ 4 1/8; made a little money
Hope SEG can bounce back with Techs; CNBCers gloom and doom for tech sector today; e.g. 20% correction on NDX wouldn't break a sweat; well, wait a while.
Good luck to longs

muddphudd;

This is the sell off I have been predicting since last month. Typically, the specialist touches or pierces the stock's 120 day SMA which is now, 33 and then, reverses direction. He is tripping all those stop loss orders and wiping out the margin accounts. We started to see panic selling between 3 and 4PM. I think tomorrow morning or Monday morning there will be a blood bath accompanied by heavy volume. That would be a clear signal to purchase calls between 32-33! Confirmation should come later showing, a reduction of overall short interest which has been coming down slowly for the past 18 months. FUNDAMENTALISTS WHO READ THIS, TAKE NOTE!!!

<<What do you make of the sharp pullback today and yesterday (over 10%)??>>

Mostly profit taking in tech after a nice run IMHO, everything I can dig up RE storage is very positive going forward (go read the Disk Drive thread on SI if you haven't already). From my options play obviously I think this is overdone. I like the stock in all respects here, technically, fundamentally and I think we get another kick at the cat as DELL and HWP report after the close on 2/16. Thus they might work the weak hands a little here but my bet is the techs will make another run into Dells earnings (which are 3 days ahead of Feb options expiration)..thats the mindset for my play..FWIW, IMHO.
