Dear Baz: My thoughts are the Justice department is on a fishing expedition with this potential suit against INTC. I do not believe that INTC is or has ever been guilty of exploiting its position. As to the pricing issue--new product new price. Didnt drop price on old product to fight AMD. Price drops normal as technology moves ahead. JDN

oh sure, kurlak moves the stock. and why not, Merrill clients owns the most Intel on the street.

But Kurlak is running on oxygen now, for his career is on the way down. His senior execs are hoping that he take the early retirement. For he has been a big embaressment and has not bought in any M&A linked business in quite a while.

For all his ill-fated calls over the last three years on Intel, mostly bad ones. We'll give him his 1-3 weeks of glory. Over the long haul, he'll be out of Wall Street, and me & you will still be happy we own Intel at today's prices!
