Motion to call Monica Lewinsky to the Senate as a witness defeated 70-30. Also, the "finding of fiction" thing seems to be on the verge of a collapse now! BIG slap on the House Managers' faces! I think the President ought to go ahead and have a party after he is acquitted. He really should! And then onto campaign 2000, on which the President and the Vice-President (i.e. the next President) are already miles and miles ahead of that ragtag bunch of bickering Republicans -- Bauer, Elizabeth Dole, Alexander, GW Bush, Forbes, McCain etc.
