Voltaire, I agree, up open in the morning, or a little scare followed by a rally.

Warning.....Warning Bear Scare,the way I see it.

Voltaire:

Well you know it,I couldn't find any reasons economic or otherwise to justify this bull sh*t,if any thing all the data points to a strong economy, at least we are starting out that way here in the U.S,but I am sure it will slow down a bit as the Asians are not completely out of the woods yet though there are signs of modest recovery in certain countries.Data from the 11 member EU is pointing to a reasonably good to moderate growth in 99.Aussies going to kick but as confidence level there are pre Asia crisis levels for the first time GDP expected grow nicely,China and India projected to grow rather handsomely, the former at approx 5-6% or more and the latter around 4-5%.

The only thing I can think of is that some schmucks are of the opinion that the market has gotten ahead of itself too fast and and little correction is warranted or justified to go forward, perhaps rightfully so.

The talk about the possibility of an interest rate hike and inflation talk are merely speculations at this point as there isn't any data to support this made-up worries. But the 'worry' itself played nicely out in the market today and that 'Big Schmoe Biggs from Morgan Stanley' and the other schmoe Kurlak from ML added a bit of fuel to the fire, also last night one them lady schmuk from Bridge news said something about the tech sector being too lofty and a bit of correction was needed to go forward or some such thing.

I can't for the life of me think of anything else,oh well on to tomorrow and next week.
