Steve,

I really love Cyber. We had some troubles the first few weeks in January while they switched over to their own servers, but things are back on track now. I know I have a super fast execution system. I have literally been executed in a second before. The new version 1.7 has so many decision support tools. I am not trying to hype Cyber because I know there are other good platforms out there, but I really believe Cyber gives me an edge. And if I ever have a problem, be it technical or regarding trading, there is someone there to help me instantly. So yes I like Cyber a lot after using it for 6 months.

Looking back I am really glad I took the class. In fact Cyber is the one who recommended it to me when I called them expressing interest in becoming a Cyber customer. They felt I should take the class before making any kind of commitment to see if I liked Cyber and to make sure I was really interested in daytrading. The class is not given by Cyber but by one of their broker dealers that they work in conjunction with. I learned so much so fast in the class. The class is given by Capital Gains in Atlanta (404)266-2562. They may offer it at other locations. It cost $1250 when I took it. I don't know if it is still that or not. If you know for sure you want to pursue daytrading, I would recommend the class. However it is expensive, so if you're not sure, I would recommend reading Electronic Daytrader or any of the other good trading books first to get a better idea before plunking down any large sums of money.

I hope this helps. I am sure there are others on this thread who may use different trading platforms or who took different classes or who can recommend other good books. I would definitely recommend investigating as many others' experiences as possible before making any final decisions.

Best of luck,
Tara
