One way to check whether your order has been cancelled is to go to Transaction. Sometimes, not always, they put the CXL (for each order you see three entries, one order, one require, and one cxl/exe) in there first before their system sends you the confirmation.

Not always, I filled on an order
that stayed on my screen as open.

No confirmations since yesterday,
then I bought a stock while the
order still showed open.

Etrade sucks........worse than sucks

Not to mention the fact that the number
for active traders was busy for 45 mintues.

That is near impossible when it takes an hour to finally get hold of a broker if in fact that is who answers. Etrade is turning into a nightmare, they do not care about their customers one way or the other. I am watching the news for the first class action suit that is filed so I can get on board.
