The market corrected today. Hardware and semis went down, Cpq no more or less than others. Relax....these things happen from time to time. Company and stock are doing just fine. Ira

Riechers, The mission is to be a global computing company serving enterprise, small and medium businesses, and the consumer markets through a duel distribution system. This needs to be emphasized more then being a fifty billion dollar in sales company in 2000. People need to understand how Compaq will get there. EP needs to simplify the message for a complex dynamic operation. That is a little more difficult then it sounds. NW

Riechers...Total agreement with your post. Is it that?: KAOS thought Maxwell Smart was clever because it did not make sense for him to be so inept. What's the story with CPQ?...as you state it doesn't make PR sense what CPQ is doing....are they really clever with a dynamite strategy (to be unveiled), just inept at PR, or hiding something? Loki
