Red, a lot of info on the colored stones has already been given in the old NR. In general coloured stones are often cloudy and of little value. Winspear indicates in their NR that most of their coloured stones are clear. There is clearly potential for very valuable coloured stones in the Winspear deposit.

In reviewing the literature on fancy stones one has to be careful of the date of the article. Since 1970 fancy coloured stones have been at least doubling in value every five years. One of the websites I referenced has a graph indicating that some stones that were worth $1000 dollars in 1970 are worth as much as $350,000 today.
