I believe that you are right.

Probably a disportionate number of chips are ship in the last half of the month. Jerry is saying that the new wafer starts with the early mask fix will not hit the street until March and probably the last half of March.

The hope for the next 3-6 months is the K6-3 for creating profit at AMD. The K7 will take time to ramp. Hopefully they will be able to ship a few hundred thousand K6-3 during March.

Jerry did not address the K6-3 at all. He just said that the revenue would be down due to K6-2 delays and Intel pricing.

As an investor in both I am disappointed by the $9 fall in Intel today as well as the $3 fall in AMD. Hopefully the bath in both stocks will stabilize by close tommorrow
