Mr. Patrick Power reports
Legend Property
Montello Resources and Redwood Resources have received a report from Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. Kennecott confirms the following caustic fusion results from the six kimberlites that were remaining from the summer/fall drill program. These results are from the small check samples that Kennecott sent to Lakefield Research Limited. Each check sample represents approximately 10 per cent of the sample taken from each pipe.

Kimberlites Discovered & Diamond Results

Target Depth (m) to End of Diamonds
to Kimberlite Hole (m)

Phoenix 102.5 225.9 Yes
5/380 kg
Roc 120.42 177.1 No
Dragon 121.9 193.9 No
Valkyrie 129.2 201 No
Pegasus 83.0 200.0 No
Xena 85.8 181.5 No
Legend 12.2 228.6 No

At the end of 1998, Kennecott decided to upgrade its Thunder Bay caustic fusion facility from a nominal 30 kilogram per day to a nominal 100 kilogram per day to ensure swift return of results. Due to construction and permitting delays the new facility will not be in place for another three weeks. The Legend property kimberlite will be given top priority as soon as the laboratory is operational.
Geophysical surveys completed in 1999 have generated 18 high priority targets, some non-magnetic. Kennecott is continuing drilling on the project to drill test a broad selection of these anomalies. A second drill rig has been mobilized to ensure that the current drilling program is completed before March 15, 1999.
Kennecott has tested a ground based EM system over the Legend and Pegasus kimberlites, both are revealed as resistive anomalies. A non-magnetic anomaly has been detected offset from the known Pegasus kimberlite. This will also be drill tested.

All small trades????

Why then did 60,000 shares get traded just after 11 am. That's some volume in that short space of time. Only looked small cause they were bought in small lots.

Someone knew something.
