i think the co is in trouble too going forward, but that probably won't come out for a while. the stock gets whacked on valuation first then comes the fundamental decline later. Let's just hope the shorts get greedy on this one and let it fall to 20 over the next couple months.

Jim, I've been urging caution on Dell only because of the run up in price. But your comments are really off the wall. Margins have been expanding, and year over year comparisons continue to look good. And when mass storage sales reach critical mass look for the growth rate to increase substantially over analysts' forecasts. Dell's business model is the paradigm for all manufacturing companies. It is the standard against which all others are measured.

A word to the not so wise short. Don't do it unless you enjoy margin calls. Don't bet against Dell!
