I'm not sure if this the right place to be asking this, but CNBC just mentioned that CBS is thinking of spinning off its net assets which include Marketwatch and Sportslline. I suppose CBS is too big for the kind of play normal on this thread, but I was wondering what this means for the underlying assets being spun off. Does CBS think the assets are undervalued now? Or just that the market overvalues net assets and it wants to take advantage of this temporary market?
