You forget something *extremely* important, as does most
people when they talk about the Palm Pilot.

There's a group of 10K software programers programming for
the Palm OS. All types who believe in the new OS. This
means that there will be a tremendous number of applications
for the PP, one of the *most* important considerations.
MSFT Windows CE won't have nearly the breadth of applications to
run. MSFT has it on their Win 98 and other products, which
is what gives them great success of control over the OS on
the PC desktop, but certainly not on the Palm top sector.

All MSFT has is a big name and a lot of cash. But everyday
the PP is 5 steps ahead for every one that Win CE moves
forward.

Does MSFT have anything even *close* to this type of software
army?
