Steve....it was a good day with buying all day long. Actually, given the fact that the techs sold off after being called much higher by CNBC at the opening bell say loads about the internal strength of this stock at the moment. Same old pattern has persisted....that being retracements on DOW rallies and rallies on general market weakness. This pattern has persisted longer than I can remember. It's strange.

I am currently following 150 stocks on the puter .....there was only two that made new closing 52 week highs today. Mentor Graphics and Concurrent Computer. The last half hour today was all green..... in a hurry it seamed. There is nothing but air above 5 bucks but the 64,000 dollar question is what will be the fundamental news that carries the stock through this magic level? The timing is perfect if the earnings report is to be good. It also appears that a VOD rollout is closer now and that the market is moving ahead of this event. In a 'perfect world'....this stock would continue higher with minor pullbacks as contracts are slowly announced in the next 6 months or so. Now I'm starting to get way to bullish so I better stop.

I have an opinion about tomorrow but don't feel like sticking my neck out at the moment. The fact remains.....the stock closed at a new 52 week closing high on almost twice average daily volume. Moving averages have confirmed this move into new higher territory. The technicians will point out that the weekly stochastics are flashing overbought. But remember when a stock begins to trend the 'stochastics' indicator will no longer work. When the big trending breakout will occur is anyones guess. But when it happens everyone will recognize it cause all the overbought indicators will just get more and more overbought. I like the fact that the most recent 5 day sell signal was aborted today. This is kinda fun right now.....who is selling? Till tomorrow.
