Now that you mention it, I do vaguely remember having read
of the 4 slot limit in the spec.

Doesn't the BH6 manual discuss this? I would have thought so.

Somewhere I was reading about individually assignable IRQs
on some new board or other. That's a bummer about AGP and
PCI slot 1 sharing an IRQ; not to mention 4 & 5.

So my earlier response (about shuffling PCI cards) was all
wet. Spoiled by Tyan.

Very helpful BH6 posts, ZP. Definately a downside of the BH6, though it hasn't caused me any undue hassle. I just wish Intel would have made the BX chipset more capable of busmastering--multiple BM PCI devices are where all the "power users" are going.

FWIW, both the BM6 nor the BX6 2.0 Abit boards have fully assignable IRQ's, among other goodies.
