Razor, perhaps in evaluating the oil sector a historic comparison would be of help. Major oil shares are within a whisker of the absolute lows of 1986. A worthwhile analysis would bring one
to compare the outlook then and now. Also meaningful for evaluation purposes is a comparison of the price of a barrel of oil in the two time periods.

An evaluation may lead one to initiate a position in the major oils, via a mutual fund or other vehicle with a quixotic eye on entering a position in other types of oil stocks. Hope this helps.

Razor, thank you very much for your insight on the oil sector. I apologize for my tardiness in getting back to you. Work and Little League obligations I'm afraid, have left me little of the quondam time
I had to post.

Why some on the thread have been bellicose, I shall continue to remain silent. The "pugilism", if you will, has at times been humorous. The threads created, were a thing of pulchritude. Such great temerity and wit on one hand, yet such a loss of talent and time on the other.

This amigo has grown very tired of the yammer that has been going on. I will be back if and when the thread resumes it's original intent. Until then, may everyones trades be prosperous ones.

Cary

PS SATH does look like an interesting short Razor.
