Or rather North. There were people with short positions in Internet stock like myself who would like ot cover when the market is down.

If shorts are covered it can put at least a brake on a downward spiral.

And who says E*Trade is cheap. They charge 19.95 for all Limit orders which is 3 X some cheaper brokerages.
