"V.P. Kraft Foods said "massive" problems will start occurring January 1,1999 ... because of date codes. They've already encountered problems."

It's 35 days after 1/1/99, where are the "MASSIVE" problems? Look in your grocery store, there are goods that have an expiration date in 2000 and 2001, same goes for over the counter medications. The computer systems are processing dates in the next century for this stuff. Yet the above says there will be massive problems.

There were problems over a year ago in some places, not massive, and were fixed. They had to be when they started to encounter expiration dates in 2000 and beyond. But they are working, otherwise the stores would be having problems getting these products shipped. I know, we had this problem over a year ago and have fixed them already and so did many others.
