i know you weren't writing to me, but before this travesty happened (and i haven't traded in a week because of this), e-trade was having an awful time of confirmations. i was notified of deals 1 hour later, and since i had tried to cancel 15-30 seconds after (when i saw their service wasn't going well, and/or stock wasn't going right), i was ticked. i didn't lose tons, but i'm sure there are plenty of people like me...who WEREN'T in today or yesterday...who have gotten screwed recently. and it could snowball those lawsuits. that doesn't answer your stock question, but we'll see. - bob
