No way. No how. No government funded abortions. Personally, I do not believe in them (any abortion) BUT, I don't believe in telling others they should feel the same AND as I've said before, I think government regulation in this area is sheer lunacy. JMHO. JLA

I totally agree Pezz on govt funded abortions. They should be available depending on the features of the govt medical program we are speaking of. If the govt pays for childbirth, birth control, viagra, etc then they should pay for abortions. IMO the "no taxpayer $$ for murder" soundbyte you constantly hear from the anti-choice people is way off base (again). For example, I may not believe in the death penalty but my taxes pay for it. I may not believe I should have to pay for smoking related illnesses since smokers should have known better, and my taxes pay. Abortion is no different.... its a legal procedure and it should be paid for just like any other medical procedure, and the taxpayers will also save in the long run because of it.

I'm sounding redundant but I continue to admire your integrity, individualism and largess...it takes some serious stones to defend a person's reproductive human rights in an atmosphere of domination and religious oppression.
