One, that depends upon whether the user ever wants to exchange data with others. Two, what reasonable person could expect that HiFD, which has to cost more to produce than Zip does, is ever going to cost less? Floppy drives cost less than 10 bucks in quantity. Zip's OEM prices have been decreasing steadily. Iomega is much farther along the curve of cost reduction than Sony, which so far hasn't even gotten a reliable external drive out the door. I still think you should consider my suggestion of creating a new thread where you and all your alter egos can play. You're fooling exactly nobody. - Allen
