Exactly. It just isn't practical to reject or accept individual cookies. Much better to be able to set some sites to accept, and all others to reject. I have seen sites that send as many as 100 cookies. (Atguard keeps a counter for you). After someone told me about Atguard it took me a couple months to get around to trying it, but I wouldn't be without it now. I believe that I have already seen some reduction in unsolicited junk mail, by the way.

Also, I should note that in addition to the ads that are automatically eliminated (including the ones on the SI Profile page, by the way), if you go to certain sites on a regular basis you can move specific ads to the "ad trashcan" and they will be blocked the next time you visit. The next result is an increase in page loading speed, and in some cases where there are a lot of ads, particularly moving ads, the difference can be very significant.
