Fleck suggested it, and thinks the futures pit is rigged

<<Fed drops a hint... After initially selling off, the market went sideways for most of day until the minutes were released from the last Fed meeting. In that press release the Fed said it may announce bias changes in the future. In other words, what the Fed will do in the future is hint and tell you that it is thinking about changing its bias before it does so. Then it will actually change the bias, then change to the new policy. It's completely ridiculous, but that's the new plan. The Fed also said it didn't think it would have to cut rates anymore as stability has returned, but left the door open for a rate cut if a downward shock occurred.

That gave the green light to speculators and we promptly had a big rally in the S&P. And when that ended the market sold off to close at its worst levels of the day, with the S&P futures down over 2 percent. It's interesting to note that the cowboys are in the pit, in the runoff after the stock market closes, and in about two minutes time the S&Ps trade up about half a percent. There's so much monkey business that goes on with tape painting in the futures, it's a sight to behold.>>
