FWIW: There has been a big jump in Feb 30 calls on PTVL. Someone thinks something good is happening in the next 2 weeks.

I usually follow during the day what's being said on www.daytraders.org. (mind you, I try not to take everything that's being said at face value). I've noticed over the last few weeks a lot of questions (more than usual)about rumors concerning the possibility of PTVL being bought. Most of the time IFLY and AMZN are the companies mentioned. There are also a lot of talk about the stock reaching in the short term $50.

I also consult regularly such sites as Zack Investment. Most of them consider PTVL not overvalued (as opposed to a lot of internet stocks!)and give it a good rating. They usually mentioned that it's a good target for a larger company looking to improve its service offer.

PTVL has also been receiving a lot of good press over the last few weeks. You could check the following:

investor.msn.com

PTVL just seems to me to be a good company, with an interesting product in a fast growing market. seems to have a great potential and, more importantly, not over valued. So I wouldn't be surprised if its stock reached $40 over the next 6 weeks on its own, and more than $50 if the company were to be bought.

Hope this helps.

Stums: Sorry for delay. Heard everything from 45 to 60. But reason why I hadn't posted it is because it may not be reasonable. I still do not have a feel for these internet stocks. Had Ticketmaster and it got creamed this week upon announcement of merging with Lycos. Lycos bought up and it got annihilated. In this industry, being bought up does not always represent a great premium. The main consolation here is the PTVL is probably not as overvalued as the other net players, so it could be up at 45 or 60, but I would not bet my home on it.
