Red Scouser...RE:"Did he not sell some shares, just after that?" 4 mil? Yes he did...however, nothing indicates it was tied to that. He's a smart guy who is diversifying his portfolio. If Bill Gates tried to remove all his MSFT stock at once, the stock would crash and he might be left with 65% of the stock value now....Dell the same....so take it out slowly. Loki

TO THREAD: CONSENSUS ON ALTA VISTA ??? Is there a consensus as to whether CPQ shareholders will receive Alta Vista shares when they spin off. OR, will there be any priviledges to CPQ holders in buying in on the IPO. I know nothing has been stated by CPQ, but what usually happens historically in these cases, and do you feel CPQ will give their shareholders the due respect as with AT&T...LU ????????????????? Any viewpoints are appreciated.
