>>>. Not too long ago this would be prediction time with the CC just 1 week away. It seems that this thread will need new blood to get the daily posting count back to where it used to be. If the stock ever pops we'll see some new names, and the old timers will grow impatient at the questions they ask.<<<

Well, I've been reading this thread on and off since 96 when the big top occurred. Bought some on the way down (that's when I learned not to average down! I only average up now). I sold my original investment, but kept checking in to see how things were going and felt brave at 3 1/4 and 5 1/8 and jumped in, and then kept adding. Have completed my position just in time for a market correction! Hope the market doesn't influence the stock too much.

I don't know too much about switches, other than my education here on this thread, but I do follow TA. The Bollinger bands look so ready!

I'll give it my two cents...

Network devices are usually managed by way of
the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
The specification a vendor uses to communicate
network equipment state information is called
the MIB (Management Information Base). Think
of it as a database entry in a funky new language.

SANs are fairly new. The way I interpret the
recent EMC announcements was that this company
chose to take a leadership role. EMC wants
industry-wide acceptance regarding what and how
information is stored in FC equipment MIBs.
