All - ALMI (s) Volume really picked up at the end of the day. There is a rumor that they are going to IPO part of their business.

Something has to be up here. I sold out 20% of my position in wavx because my wife heard something today about Almi. She works at Smith barney. I think the IPO talk is 100% true.

Trader J,

Level 2

I don't scalp trades myself but Level 2 gives you a lot more then just bids and asks. The charts provide you with a view of the general market conditions, indices give you an instant feel for directions, and ISLD book, for example, provides a look at direction on individual stocks.I have set up 8 charts to help me learn. Four on the market and four charts for four different stocks.

You are right that the software is difficult to learn and read, but if I want to be the best I can be at controlling my financial destiny, then I will learn this stuff. <g>

Good luck to all.

To all:

Any opinions on BAMM? Thinking about buy some more tomorrow. Price & volume action was very interesting today(Chart is starting to look better). Volume was 4X and it closed at 13 7/8 up over 30% today. Don't know how much is related to options starting on this stock or the rumor that AMZN wants to buy them.

The AMZN rumor doesn't make sense to me. Why would AMZN want brick and mortar, wrong business model for them.

I also heard that there was an analyst on CNBC today that did not mention BAMM by name but did say a bricks & Mortar operation would/could make sense to AMZN?

thanks,
Scott.
