Petz,

You once told me, AMD was your favorite stock. Is it still? and why?, because they are predictable?

Petz:

As I recall, the generally accepted standard for determining predatory pricing in Anti-Trust cases is the Areeda-Turner test, which maintains that a price above reasonably anticipated VARIABLE costs (i.e. not including depreciation ect.) is presumed lawful. Now my memory of A-T law is getting rusty, but if I recall correctly most or all of the fed circuit courts have adopted it. Note however that it is not generally held a hard and fast rule, only that it creates a (rebuttable) presumption.....

John,

Re: "Yea, except, thats just for the raw wafer -- ..."

John, You are in "over your head" once again ... Raw 8" wafers cost
about $125.00. You obviously have NO CONNECTION with a Fab. Please
run the numbers with 85% yield and $750.00 wafer cost (fully processed).
Now you know why AMD is in trouble.

Make It So,
Yousef
