Ian,

At the risk of being flamed, allow me to counter...

Many of the "big" buy side US houses took part in the Q&A
That's good news. Now, more analysts will know that NN missed their quarter...

If we get less than 4 downgrades tomorrow, I would also conclude that NN has attained a degree of credibility with the Analyst community.
I can see it now.."Alan, great job, we blew the quarter and we only got 3 downgrades !! Here's 100,000 more options !!

In my experience, very little business results from the first order from a new customer due to the processes required to get new equipment into production.
Too bad they didn't start selling to new customers 2 quarters ago...

NN is standing by their earnings estimates for 2000.
Yeah. That and a loonie will buy you a tall cup of Java at Starbucks.

So all you NN haters, please flood the open with Market sell orders. The rest of us will be very grateful and think kindly of you during the next year or so.
Your assuming we were dumb enough to buy at this level. Unlike ....
ahh, shucks Ian, you make it too easy....

Have fun averaging down tomorrow..

Ian, no offense, but if you are investing and not being a "fan" of this company you can't avoid the conclusion that there is a history of failure and disappointment.

Here's something to think about... If five years ago you had invested $10,000(US) each in NN, CSCO and ASND the value of your ASND holding would be over $400,000, your CSCO holding over $118,000 and your NN holding a whopping $9,900!!

Think about it, during the greatest boom ever seen in networking, data communications and telecommunications, NN has lost value/share.

Here's a chart of some of the major network and telecom players...
