All Aboard..Full Steam Ahead!

I tried unhiding one of my Win95 primary partitions with PM. I booted and noted no problems. I then executed PM and switched the active status of the two primary partitions..booted and the alternate Win95 OS booted.

I cannot think of any reason why the idea will not fly. I actually prefer it to the Win98/NT combo. No sense mixing things up if you don't have to.

Do you plan on installing NT? Or will you just clone the primary NT install to the KOT drive?

What about the extended partition? Would it be better as a bootable primary FAT partition??

Good, 'cause it's wrong. You'd boot the backup NT
by booting from IDE2.
