ALTR - MKT-CAP = ~6 Billion
XLNX - MKT-CAP = ~6 Billion

6 Billion = 6 Billion

Simple math. Both companies are perceived by wall
street as being equal.

Only SMART investors would buy both companies....

Sherman, are you the Sherman I used to work with at TP ?

ps: Covered my 500 shares at 77 a while back. I am looking at going long on NMGC at the moment. It has all the conditions for a big come back, huge outstanding shorts, expected beating estimate, >40% drop in the last few weeks..... Shorting XLNX is just an enticing idea.

pss: thanks guys for good informations. Yes I do notice ALTR is having a hard time to hangon to its gain and XLNX is very quick to return to 80s during the last two weeks. However, going long XLNX at this price is just too pricy for me.
