People are buying Asnd Jun 85 calls for $9 premium today; over 2,100 contracts traded. That's about the merger completion time.

So, it could not have been the catalyst for the drop in the NASDAQ.>> As so often happens, I'm sure many people got this news before it was officially announced after the market closed. If one networker misses, and all others have extremely high valuations (CSCO, LU, ASND) then there is nervousness. This sector is priced in a way that does not allow missed earnings for anyone in the sector. jww
