No, you must compare apples to apples. No, 75% of american people are whores (who would sell everything for continued "good times") or are so in love with Clinton that they will never believe anything he could do would be bad enough to remove him from office.

IMHO If he were to do the worst(not saying he would just "if" here)
Let's say he were to decide to change his status (outside the constitution & every law) and proclaim himself "President for Life",
there would be far fewer complaints from one side Congress than you would expect and almost none from the other. Near the same would happen in the Senate. When "polled" at least 55% of voters would think it was OK.
