regarding intc - this guy kurlak is way, way, way off base. he has a horrible track record. he is a ML analyst. as in the brokerage so afraid of the internet that they ignore online traders, and, therefore have slipped below schwab in market cap.

even if kurlak has a point regarding intc v amd in low priced processor sales, so what? that has no effect on dell. indeed, since dell makes its money by selling the higher end chips, and by growing its server business, dell should perform very well. dell is growing the hi margin segment of the business.

we moved down today in sympathy with intc, which got hammered by the kurlak stupidity. and in sympathy with msft, which falsified tapes. but dell is set to kick butt on the next earnings. dell has no warts. after feb 16, the pe will have to be revised based on new earnings projections. if you look at a dell chart, you see ramp ups, and dips, ramp ups, and dips. just happens that last thus-fri-mon was a particulary steep ramp up. now a dip. i still think next week will see a strong move to earnings. indeed, i have put my money where my mouth is on that.

i just hope we are not beginning a long nas slide which takes everything with it.
