Hi,
Do you think it was a wise move by Intel to introduce price-cutting measures at this time ? I am specifically concerned about the risk with FTC. If AMD had announced good earning for Q1 (as opposed to losses, like they did today), wouldn't it make the FTC situation a little easier for Intel? Although there would have been a risk in delaying steep price-cutting of low-cost chips in terms of losing more market share to AMD, I think Intel has enough muscle to enter the sub-$1k market and recapture the market a quarter or two later.

On a second thought, do you think "Jerry" is smart enough to time his "loss announcement" prior to the FTC stuff to make a point against Intel :-) ?
