again, traditional valuation metrics are not at play here. what's happening here is a generalized sector correction ebay is 20% off its peak, but also IBM is 15% off its peak and Cisco is 10% off its peak. Netscape was crushed by the giant in Redmond, and then it started its decline. I don't see that happening anytime soon with Ebay. It is relatively secure in its niche. Sure if you give me less than a million dollars I can build a better web site than Ebay ( or even Yahoo), with all the bells and whistles ( including Tyra banks strutting her stuff ;-) , BUT how much do you have to pay for the BRAND and the name recognition of Yahoo or Ebay ? . Bottomline is we may be in for a corrrection, but the demise of Yahoo, Ebay and the Internet may be a bit exaggerated.

Actually, I was after beign shaken out by the lunatic rise Weds afternoon that cost me about 60% of the profit on the short. Only consolation is that I made money!
