Eric,

AMD sells at 25% below Intel, because OEM's have to sell AMD boxes at a discount. OEM's have told AMD that they require a 25% discount relative to Intel.

AMD would love to sell CPU's at a higher price, but Intel manipulates Celeron pricing to maximize AMD pain, and minimize PII/PIII pain.
