Good article Jim, if there are any doubters about the liberal bias in the mainstream news media I hope they will have the courage to think about this...

When the media want a comment from a women's organization, they routinely seek a spokeswoman from the National Organization for Women. Most Americans would be forgiven for believing NOW's membership is so large that the organization can speak fairly for the nations female population. Unfortunately for this theory, there happens to be another women's group with a far larger membership. But you will seldom hear of "Concerned Women for America" being approached for a comment because the media are not really looking for a representative female comment, but rather for a liberal female comment. Similarly, female Republican elected officials and other conservative female activists didn't seem to matter when "The Year of the Woman" was pronounced. Despite their significant numbers and contributions to society they were inconvenient to the liberal world view and thus ignored.
