right jubimer, thats where my thoughts were that s why when i came across this link it shot in my head this must be where ampex is going. i copied and pasted what they do: Our virtual facility allows clients to access a private studio space with a turnkey system. Up to 50 mb of storage is available to project teams that is secured under a password protected that is user defined for up to 8 team members. Bandwidth allocation per project is based upon 1 GB per month. The facility is useful for both print and broadcast clients. All studios are connected to t1 lines for fast thoroughput.

Each Digital Studio includes the ability to:

post storyboards
view a updateable calendar
view elements in progress
prepare and review bids
preview of the final project
e-mail forwarding
message board
easy uploading of all elements

now can you imagine bramson renting or selling storage space with his dst' s and weaving it in to video and audio services and enhancements for projects like these and more, to the public and businesses ?
