Not at all possible. I know of the buying that has driven the price up. I have a very good handle about how much the short position is. There may have been a tiny bit of covering but nothing like what you're going to see.

if not how will we know when the MM's begin covering???

Superdow, I too was perplexed as to why the incredible volume yesterday yielded only a marginal gain. I am not complaining about the gain, only that it looks like the issue is churning, which makes me skeptical about continued strength. I share your concern, we traded 10% of the issue yesterday, most of it tightly held, why didn't we see a spike? Hopefully, with today's NR, we will see some greater appreciation. Still very long here.
