RE THE BELL - Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) rebounds

NEW YORK, Feb 5 (Reuters) - Intel Corp. began to rebound in
pre-open trade Friday following steep losses in the prior
session.
Intel traded at 131-1/2 on the Instinet electronic system,
up 1-3/8 from its Thursday close.
The stock fell Thursday on fears of a price war between
Intel and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE:AMD).
Advanced Micro Devices traded at 16-1/2 in the pre-open,
down 2-7/16 from its Thursday close. The company said on
Thursday that it may post an operating loss in the current
quarter.
International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) traded at
169-7/8 in the pre-open, up 5/16 from Thursday's close.
