The problem is with this companies treatment of the street. Contrast 3com with AMD. Analyst sniffs out bad news on AMD and the issue release confirming tough quarter. Stock gets hit but only once. 3com sits quietly and lets each analyst take a separate cut day after day and the stock continues to hemorage.Then when the bad news omes out, and it will, we will get hit again. This company has a lousy history of not being honest with street, whether it is about accounting, inventory, or sales. The real problem with the company is that it needs a management transplant.
