makes no sense to you , but I trade according to my own system and when a stock reaches a certain level (based on technical analysis) then I buy no matter what. Same thing with sell orders. Doesn't work all the time but it works for me. If you believe in tech analysis (which I believe you do since you seem concerned with momentum) then you also pay attention to support and resistence levels and use those as floor buys or ceiling sells. Not bullet proof but you have got to go by something. Best of luck to you, sg
