John you are right on they money there. I am new to posting here but not new to the thread as I have reading the posts here for over a month now. I used to post on AOL months ago (no more I dumped it) and well before the Web site was even a rumor, I believed that because of the tarnished past of WOOD, it was going to take several quarters of profit and no "BS" Propaganda from the company for the share price to increase modestly (.15-.20). Naturally I was accused of being a "Pump and Dumper" which was ludicrous, but another story.

I also agree with David's numbers as being a good conservative figure. Selling the land in US$ and buying the Sawmills, etc in Brazilian "Real" would be a real steal. Unless they go completely insane, I can't really see Madera squandering the big gains from the sale of the land. Of course, future sales of wood and plywood from the mills will also depend on the Global economy, (who knows where it will be in a year), which is something we must also look at. The web site should produce decent results provided it gets the proper exposure. Even if you chop David's numbers in half, you still have a stock that should be in at least the .40-.50 range IMHO. From having bought in originally at .05, those are numbers I would be very pleased with. Ok enough ramble from me for now.

Chuck

John,
I guess the point I would make is that even if someone isn't comfortable with being long on WOOD for whatever reason, the stock would seem to be a traders dream if the land sale is for real. I still say the "liquidation" value of a company gets investors attention and a $50,000,000 or more cash infusion would have to drive the stock at such an announcement. Then, if someone is wary of Madera's management, they could sell and be gone. I believe that would be short term profitable, but also shortsighted. Everyone has their own opinion here. I believe the market has to see real evidence of the marketability of the land. If a Press Release comes forward in the next several weeks that documents a sale, I have to believe it will drive the price. Then one is back to the original question.... do I believe in the long term business plan or not. If yes, I hold for more gain, if not, I sell and take profits. Even short term profits could be in the range of $1.00/share in my opinion. Again, go back to David's post # 1108 for the justification on this.
