Dennis; I'm not buying dips. It surprises me that so many people
fail to see the market is manipulated. Just looking at the FED
action should be enough for most anyone with an average IQ to
see it. Intervention almost on a daily basis , first one way
then the next is not conducive to a "stable" market, ( what
GreenSpam say's he want's ).
Note the Dow is not falling as fast as the S&P , and being
program trading curbs are fixed to the DOW, it looks like a lot
of money is being slipped off the table as the DOW is propped up.
--------------
In fact the action in Iraq is now suspect , it seems to coincides
a little to much with Big oils need to get the price up.
And they do have some clout.
-------------
The result of higher oil prices is a lot like an increase
in interest rates sometimes more so, or worse , running
oil up at a time growth is falling sets up a bad situation,
however that may not be reflected in stock prices until it's
to late.
I consider the last reports from the FED out and out
contrived fabrications.
I also think this short term in and out action of the FED,
is in collision with what the investment bankers want,
and helps the volatility so they can first set a bull trap
then a bear trap for the traders who are outside the loop.
Jim
PS.
If you look at all the spins they do with headlines you will
also see who controls the PR ..they recently drummed out how
Japan stocks have fallen so much, but look at the relative
motion, ( via a dollar index ) Japan while hitting lows
Yen wise ; is up dollar wise more than the S&P since the
secret deals in Oct

Smoke and mirrors.

PPS
The S&P on a relative basis is sucking hind tit just look at
the WEBs, there is only one that hasn't beat us since OCT.
Our indexes are not WYSIWYG indicators.

PART TWO..
My warning to watch the liquid level of the market via the BIG
CAPS is playing out. As the dow stocks are in a controld state,
as to not trigger curbs, the other Big caps are being sold.

<note the 1.06% drop , in these most liquid of stocks,
compared to the overall .82% drop in the S&P >
After they get the Big money off the table then start
on the thiner traded ones it could fall like a rock.

Also note the ones that are up , are up on small volume,
the ones falling are on larger volume..lot's of money
being taken off the table. More than the indexes show.
