Art happens every IBM yr end - IBM buys back , LVG speaks , stock rises

He will probably be able to soon show Wall Street Analyst a IBM PowerPC running a "Japanese" handheld:

" HOLDING JAPAN IN ITS PALM. Palm Computing has a plan. The company this week unveiled its plan to win its way into the tight Japanese market for handheld devices with a Japanese-enabled version of its Palm OS.

The California company also said it is shipping a Japanese version of its desktop software, which includes Japanese/English dictionaries, and has added Japanese support to its HotSync technology for transferring data between the Palm device and a PC.

At the same time, Palm said an unannounced partner will ship a Japanese-language version of the Palm Pilot within months.

The IDG News Service predicts the partner will be IBM Corp., which sells Palm handhelds in the United States under the IBM brand. "

(IDG News Service, Feb. 5)

Under the "IBM" brand - wonder if it will have "Intel" inside ?

No question but that the last 25, 30 point drop stung ... a lot. Nevertheless, like I suppose the vast majority of holders, we still have a substantial profit over our cost and we can easily recall the good times when the stock increased our fortunes very significantly. While these kind of fond memories can be expensive when a stock drops, they also help shore up the decision to buy more shares (LEAPs in my case) at these levels, which I did.

Everyday that you don't sell is a decision to buy once again. As I look around for the highest value, safest, and most potential for gain place to put in most of my money every new day, the best place is usually IBM.
