Andreas,

Intc merely plays with amd much like a cat plays with a struggling mouse before the final kill.

If you look a little closer at what Intel is doing, it becomes obvious that AMD has backed them into a corner.

Intel is selling zero margin parts (Celerons) which run the entire body of existing x86 software just as fast as their top of the line Xeons and PIIIs. Intel is taking a gigantic risk releasing 433 and 466 MHz Celerons.

Do you think that Intel's management planned it this way?

<< Give it up! AMD cannot and will not pull it off >>

Who the hell are you, where the hell have you been that you know it all, and how can you be so wise?

We all know it's a long-shot...if they don't do it, we are all worse off, stockholders or not.

If you can't be more constructive then begone.
