To all: Just some thoughts... With the recent purchase of WNP's wireless licences by Nextlink (another McCaw company) to provide fixed broadband phone/data services to businesses, Nextlink (McCaw), with this purchase, has made it clear that they (he) sees potential in this market. But the wireless licences are worthless without the network and as everyone knows building a network is not cheap. I have heard that Nextlink needs to raise money to continue its growth. What better way to raise money then to sell Nextel.
