Actually, it's pretty easy to pick-out the paid shills. And, really, I'm not very convinced that there are any here, on either side.

You know who the paid shills are? They're the ones that go from board to board to board, posting off-topic touts. Buy XYZ! ABC is hot! psst! ABC buying XYZ! Their posts usually have little real content. This is saturation advertising - branding - the idea is to get the stock symbol into people's minds. THAT is what promoters will pay for.

You actually won't find that much of this here on SI, because SI is fairly vigilent.

On Yoohoo, though, some threads for hot Internet stocks have more of these touts for penny stocks than posts for the stock! I think this is partly because Yoohoo doesn't permit threads for OTC-BB and pink sheet stocks. I wish they did, because it might cut-down on a lot of this useless drivel.

I imagine that a lot of these people are paid. But I suspect that they are also paid very little. It's not a job that requires a whole lot of skill or intelligence, now is it? They're probably college or high school students who will work cheap and are thrilled to be paid to do anything with the computer and on the Internet.

Though I will admit that some of them are getting pretty smart lately. They've begun to post headings that are relevant to the stock. But then the content isn't (it's "XYZ is hot!") or it points to a web site that isn't relevant to the stock. (Some are just out-and-out spams, that take you to somebody's amazon.com affiliate page, etc. but most are touting some stock or another.)

Perhaps a bit off-topic, but I thought I'd rain some reality on the rediculous parade.

Cliff, I don't know why you criticized me for not posting facts, when I've been for a year delivering reports from the Internet Advertising Group, of which I am a member; reports from Internet.com, Advertising Age, The Industry Standard, PRNewswire, Reuters and others. I've also provided information relative to other companies that are in a similar business as Zulu. More importantly, I was the first one to break the ice and actually meet Pat Hayton and I gave a report which has proven true, i.e., the ecommerce, CEO, etc. I also organized a meeting of shareholders in New York City.

In essence, I don't believe you should give me short shrift just 'cause I've refused to accept the Neghead argument in this debate. Plus, it's a fact I've answered the Neghead faction with posting that is quite similar to yours, the one to which I am responding.

And the true fact is I've devoted and suffered long hard hours into this endeavor. It's bad enough to suffer the indignities from the Negheads, but, quite frankly, I'm surprised at your comments.
