This product will bear very close watching." I think this reflects the fact that Intel-based servers are a key lynch-pin in IBMs corporate future. The copper-based Merced Chip Set, as you noted, indicates their commitment to that CPU and that they want 8-way systems from the Get-Go - I think Intel's SHV will still be 4-way systems. Paul
